Temperatures are starting to moderate, but remember that nighttime temperatures have to stay 50° or better before moving anything outdoors or planting anything in the ground. On April 26, Hendricks County is having their county fair and the garden club is going to meet up and explore the fair together. This is in place of our usual second Thursday meeting. The meeting in May comes early. The second Thursday in May is actually only May 8. Mark it on your calendar and join us for a field trip to the town of Mecca. Mecca was founded by Muslim tile makers prior to World War II. There will be opportunities to shop for garden plants and we will have a nice lunch out there. Meet at the clubhouse at 9:30 to carpool.
