Even though the snow lay all around us, if you prune certain plants now, you will be guaranteed gorgeous spring and summer blooms. Wisteria, smoothleaf hydrangea, and lantana are just a few plants that benefit by winter pruning. Use your Google machine, type in the type of plant you’re interested in pruning and see if a winter pruning wouldn’t be beneficial.

The garden club is on hiatus, but we will resume meetings in March. Please join us Thursday, March 13 at 9:30 AM at the clubhouse for our first meeting of the new year. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
