Spring and our first garden club meeting are nearly here. Our meeting is this Thursday, March 12th at 9:30 am in the clubhouse. Marianne Novak will be presenting on growing, harvesting, and freezing ginger. New members are always welcome. Just show up, we are a friendly group.
We also have a presentation by the Putnam County Remove Invasive Plants (Putnam County RIP) group on Thursday, March 12th evening at 7 pm at the clubhouse. Invasive plants are those that are not native, spread and do harm to the environment of an area. You will probably be surprised to find that you probably have some of these plants in your own yards! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn right here in your own neighborhood. Click this link for more information. All are welcome!
